2025 Governor Award Selection Criteria
The Student Government Association (SGA) will honor two graduating students in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University and SGA for their outstanding service and achievement as an undergraduate student at Austin Peay State University.
Candidacy
All students must meet the following criteria to be considered eligible:
- Eligible candidates must be graduating seniors in fall 2024, spring 2025, or the summer 2025 semester.
- Eligible candidates must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
- Eligible candidates must be involved in extracurricular activities. Involvement is defined as being in at least one APSU social or service organization and one APSU academic or honors organization.
- Eligible candidates must have held at least one leadership or officer position in a registered organization while a student at Austin Peay State University.
Application and Deadline
- Applications should be . All applications and materials must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
Selection
- A committee comprised of two staff members and three students will review all eligible applications for the selection of the successful candidates.
