APSU hosting Summer Graduation Gala July 2

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. 鈥 This July, the Austin Peay State University Registrar鈥檚 Office will host the Summer 2019 Graduation Gala, and all APSU students participating in the Summer commencement ceremony in August are encouraged to attend this important, celebratory event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, in the Morgan University Center Ballroom.

For graduating seniors, the Graduation Gala is a one-stop shop in preparation for the big day, allowing them to celebrate their accomplishments while also making sure there are no hiccups to prevent them from receiving a diploma.

鈥淲e want to ensure that our students are being taken care of,鈥 Telaina Wrigley, APSU registrar, said. 鈥淲e鈥檒l be there so they can resolve any pending requirements they may have for graduation.鈥

At the gala, seniors may:

Refreshments will be provided, as will a 鈥淜id Zone鈥 for students with children, and all participants will be entered into a drawing for a free tablet (APSU employees are not eligible to win).
