Sherry Clark
Sherry Clark, Learning Specialist Coordinator, began working with FSL when she was teaching English classes at APSU. She is delighted to return to APSU and the FSL program in her new role. Sherry earned her Bachelor’s in English with a concentration in English Writing, and her Master’s in English at Austin Peay in 2005 and 2008.Sherry has extensive experience working with students as a teacher in higher education, where she taught courses in English using innovative methods such as interactive workshops, collaborative projects, and technology-enhanced learning. Her dedication to student success was evident in her ability to adapt her teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of her students. She has also been involved in curriculum development and has contributed to the creation of several new courses aimed at enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. Sherry is also excited to collaborate with faculty to enhance the learning experience for students. Looking ahead, she aims to further develop her skills in curriculum design and student engagement strategies. In her personal time, Sherry enjoys reading cozy mysteries. She is enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead and is committed to making a positive impact at APSU.
