Gallery: APSU honors military student graduates with special coin, cords
Austin Peay State University holds special graduation ceremonies for its military students each spring, summer and fall. The school honors the students during the "All Hail to Those Who Serve" ceremony in recognition of the military community's importance to APSU.
Each student receives an Austin Peay military coin and a military cord at the ceremony.
This summer's ceremony happened on Aug. 8, and retired Lt. Gen. Ronald Bailey, now the University's vice president of external affairs, was guest speaker. Here are photos, taken by APSU's Denzil Wyatt, from the ceremony:
