CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. 鈥 For several months, Austin Peay State University鈥檚 Information Technology (IT) department has been quietly working behind the scenes to implement a new mobile application called Peay Mobile 4.0.

This new version automatically replaces the original version of the Austin Peay mobile application, providing access to student and employee accounts, class schedules, grades and campus navigation. These and other features are at the control of your thumbs through Apple and Android mobile devices. One of the app鈥檚 most significant features is the ability to pay campus bills, such as tuition. The app is free and can be downloaded by visiting apsu.edu/mobile.

Jarad Sneed, interim ERP systems administrator, said the new product鈥檚 goal is to provide students, faculty and staff with more power to navigate campus and conduct business transactions at their fingertips.

鈥淲ith the ever growing demand for mobile accessible services, Austin Peay State University, in conjunction with the Office of Information Technology, wants to expand its outreach to current and future students, faculty and staff,鈥 Sneed said. 鈥淲ith features that make it easier for the University community to keep up to date with campus events, see their class schedule, check grades and pay bills, the introduction to the new Peay Mobile application further enforces Austin Peay State University鈥檚 dedication to student success.鈥
