APSU professor Dr. Gregg Steinberg to speak on how to write book proposals that sell

Dr. Gregg Steinberg is offering a seminar titled, 鈥淲riting a Book Proposal That Sells.鈥 The seminar will be held from 3-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 in the Morgan University Center, room 303, on the campus of Austin Peay State University. The seminar is free and open to the public.

Dr. Gregg Steinberg is offering a seminar titled, 鈥淲riting a Book Proposal That Sells.鈥 The seminar will be held from 3-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26 in the Morgan University Center, room 303, on the campus of Austin Peay State University. The seminar is free and open to the public.

Steinberg will show participants how to devise a proposal for an agent or publisher and cover the key components of a book proposal. Additionally, Steinberg will cover topics on finding an agent or publisher suited for the needs of the author and how to create a platform to promote your topic and your book to the media. Participants in the seminar will receive a proposal by Steinberg that has successfully sold to a publisher. Reservations are requested by emailing Steinberg at steinbergg@apsu.edu in order to ensure you receive a copy of the proposal.

Steinberg is a 17-year tenured professor in the APSU鈥檚 Health and Human Performance department. He has authored three books: 鈥淢ental Rules for Golf鈥; 鈥淔lying Lessons,鈥 a parenting book about emotional toughness; and 鈥淔ull Throttle,鈥 a business book about emotional toughness. Steinberg has appeared as an analyst and commentator on Dancing With the Stars, CNN, Fox News and the Golf Channel and also writes a business column for the Tennessean.
