APSU employees share recent professional developments, activities
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Faculty and staff members at Austin Peay State University recently announced achievements as part of their professional and scholarly activities.
Joe Weber, director of library services, has been elected president of the Tenn-Share Board of Directors for 2014-2015. Established in 1992, Tenn-Share is the Tennessee library resource sharing consortium, serving more than 600 libraries (academic, public, school and special) statewide.

Philip Voorhees, Disability Services adaptive technology coordinator, has been asked to serve on the Tennessee Higher Education Commission’s (THEC) Accessibility Task Force as an expert in the field of technology with a specialization in accessibility. The task force is charged with developing recommendations for the general assembly related to ensuring accessibility of digital curricula for students with disabilities at state institutions of higher education.
