Austin Peay State University announced a new degree partnership with Volunteer State Community College on Monday, Nov. 19 at Highland Crest Campus in Springfield.
APSU President Tim Hall and VSCC President Dr. Jerry Faulkner signed a new transfer degree program for VSCC students to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Under the new 2+2 agreement, VSCC students at Highland Crest who earn an Associate of Science degree in criminal justice can transfer seamlessly into APSU’s Bachelor of Science in criminal justice program, with a concentration in homeland security.
Students may take up to 41 credit-hours in general education courses through VSCC to transfer into the B.S. degree program at APSU, where the remaining credit-hours in criminal justice coursework and other curriculum toward a minor will be completed.
