APSU to hold scholarly weekend with 2 events

The Office of Undergraduate Research and the College of Graduate Studies at Austin Peay State University are joining forces next month for a weekend filled with scholarly pursuits.

The Seventh Annual Research and Creativity Forum and the Third Annual Graduate Extravaganza will be held Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14. Both events, open to the public, promote and showcase the scholarship and creativity in postsecondary education.

Students will present their research in poster format, oral presentation or performance.

The Seventh Annual Research and Creativity Forum and the Third Annual Graduate Extravaganza will be held Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14. Both events, open to the public, promote and showcase the scholarship and creativity in postsecondary education.

Students will present their research in poster format, oral presentation or performance.

The weekend begins with the Graduate Extravaganza from 1-2:30 p.m., Friday, April 13 in the Morgan University Center Ballroom. Then from 3-4:30 p.m., the Research and Creativity Forum will begin with poster presentations.

The forum continues with undergraduate oral presentations and performances from 8-11 a.m., Saturday, April 14.

Award presentations will be at 4:30 p.m., Friday, April 13 for the undergraduate poster awards; 11 a.m., Saturday, April 14 for the undergraduate oral awards; and noon, April 14 for the Graduate Extravaganza awards.
