APSU new police chief ready to make campus police among the best

鈥淚 want to do a comprehensive audit of our department and identify priorities from there. I want to help make us one of the best police departments in the nation,鈥 Calloway said.
Calloway took the oath of office Monday, Jan. 9 by APSU President Tim Hall. Calloway officially began his new duties Monday.
An accomplished administrator with more than 16 years of experience, Calloway has directed an effective and efficient community-oriented police operation, including patrol, investigation support, training, budget management and administrative services. He also has extensive experience providing service to his community.
Most recently, Calloway served as a chief of police in Ohio and as an administrative lieutenant at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio. He holds a Master of Justice Administration degree from David N. Myers University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy Session 244. - Dr. Melony Shemberger
