GovTV Channel 99 now on U-verse TV

Austin Peay State University’s GovTV Channel 99, which broadcasts public, education and government (PEG) programming for the city of Clarksville, is now carried on AT&T U-verse.

Dr. Mike Gotcher, chair of the APSU Department of Communication who oversees the operation of GovTV, said the ability to offer GovTV on an additional subscription service is “a positive feature for the APSU community and Clarksville.”

“It expands APSU’s footprint. We are glad to have this,” he said.

PEG programming on U-verse TV on Channel 99 can be viewed by U-verse TV customers in Clarksville and throughout middle Tennessee. The channel also remains available through Charter Communications. - Dr. Melony Shemberger
