For its many efforts to the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, Austin Peay State University was presented with the Partner Service Award on Sept. 14.
Local school officials and representatives with the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce presented the award during the annual Partners in Education Appreciation Breakfast at the Montgomery County Civic Hall.
Some of the examples in which APSU supports local schools include the partnerships with Burt and Liberty elementary schools, student volunteers for the teacher supply store, the location of the Middle College High School on the APSU campus, various College of Education initiatives and many others. -- Melony Shemberger
