Winter Salon Series Begins Jan. 27 with Reading by Amy Wright
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. 鈥 The Winter Salon Series, presented by the Austin Peay State University Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts, kicks off this month with a reading by the multitalented Dr. Amy Wright 鈥 poet, nonfiction and flash fiction writer 鈥 at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 27 in the meeting room in the Montgomery County Public Library.

Wright is the author of two chapbooks, 鈥淭here Are No New Ways to Kill a Man鈥 and 鈥淔arm.鈥 Her work also appears in a number of journals including American Letters & Commentary and Quarterly West, and is anthologized in 鈥淭he Southern Poetry Anthology, Volume III: Southern Appalachia.鈥 She is the prose editor of APSU鈥檚 Zone 3 Press and assistant professor of creative writing at APSU. Her interviews with various artists and writers are available in the Zone 3 journal at /zone3.
