APSU to hold physical education program for home-schooled children
Beginning in October, Austin Peay State University Department of Health and Human Performance will offer a six-week physical education program for home-schooled children.
Children ages 4-14 are invited to attend physical education classes taught by APSU students seeking health and physical education licensure. Children are divided into four age groups allowing four concurrent teaching stations.
Classes will be held from 1-1:45 p.m., Wednesdays, Oct. 6, 13, 22 and 27 and Nov. 3 and 10.

Cost to participate in the program is $10 per child and $5 per sibling.
Registration for the classes will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6 in the Dunn Center, Room 282. Parents are encouraged to bring their children when registering. This also will be the first day of instruction.
Children also may be registered Wednesday, Oct. 13, if parents are unable to attend the first-day registration.
