APSU chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha ranked among "best in the nation"

In a letter to Dr. David Kanervo and Dr. Vernon Warren, professors of political science, James Lengle, executive director of Pi Sigma Alpha, Washington, D.C., wrote, "I am delighted to inform you that Kappa Eta Chapter has been chosen to receive one of Pi Sigma Alpha's Best Chapter Awards for 2001-2002.

In a letter to Dr. David Kanervo and Dr. Vernon Warren, professors of political science, James Lengle, executive director of Pi Sigma Alpha, Washington, D.C., wrote, "I am delighted to inform you that Kappa Eta Chapter has been chosen to receive one of Pi Sigma Alpha's Best Chapter Awards for 2001-2002.
"These awards are intended to recognize local chapters that are particularly active in their departments and universities and exhibit high levels of energy and creativity in furthering the goals of the honor society."
The award carries a cash prize of $250 and a certificate for framing. Winners also will be recognized in September at the American Political Science Association convention in Washington, D.C.
