Austin Peay State University is the second university nationally to implement an online database coined G-Link. The database is designed for filing and systematizing student organizations' information and responsibilities.

APSU's Office of Student Life and Leadership is responsible for keeping records of approximately 90 student-led organizations on campus. G-Link has been implemented to help the school and student organizations stay up-to-date and organized. G-Link allows for the collection of a substantial amount of information.

Each student organization has its own page to list activities, events and information regarding membership solicitation. Using G-Link, students can educate themselves on the various student organizations at APSU and learn how to become involved.

鈥淕-Link has put APSU on the cutting-edge of technology when it comes to student life on campus,鈥 says Lindsay Mazer, assistant director of student life and leadership.

G-Link provides a single place where all student organizations can be found online. The link is updated on a regular basis to ensure that only the latest information is available for viewing.

鈥淪tudents will have 24-hour access to information about campus events, student organizations and leadership opportunities. G-Link is giving students the ability to work within their own schedules and make their APSU experience as complete as possible,鈥 says Mazer.

Formerly known as SA Link, G-Link was created by CollegiateLink, a company based in Boston, Mass.
