APSU asks groups to build floats, join in Homecoming Parade
Join the parade! Its a great way to show your pride in and support of Austin Peay State University.With the theme, Celebrating Music in America, APSU Homecoming activities will begin on campus in late October and run through Saturday, Nov. 4.
Staff members in the offices of Student Life and Leadership and Alumni and Annual Giving are encouraging the larger community to join in the fun while also showing support for students and pride in returning alumni by participating in the Homecoming Parade.

Staff members in the offices of Student Life and Leadership and Alumni and Annual Giving are encouraging the larger community to join in the fun while also showing support for students and pride in returning alumni by participating in the Homecoming Parade.
Businesses and civic or church organizations may build and enter a float in the parade or just march with others to show support.
Parade entrants will line up at 9 a.m. in the Burt Parking Lot at Eighth and Marion streets.
Beginning at 10 a.m., the parade will move down Eighth Street, along College Street, onto North Second Street and then onto Marion Street before returning to the Burt Parking Lot.
Following the parade, the University will offer a selection of activities prior to the football game at 2 p.m. in Governors Stadium as APSU takes on North Greenville.
To participate in the parade, go to www.apsu.edu/sll and click on 鈥淗omecoming 2006鈥 for more information and an entry form. The form must be completed and returned to the Office of Student Life and Leadership, Morgan University Center, by 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27.
