AP Playhouse, Center introduce ‘Punch and Judy' to new generation

Its a classic and now, thanks to APSU, a new generation of children will get to know the beloved characters, Punch and Judy.

The AP Playhouse and the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts will present The Comical Tragedy or Tragical Comedy of Punch and Judy at 7 p.m., Aug. 5-6, and at 2 p.m., Aug. 7, in Trahern Theatre.

Written by Aurand Harris and directed by Sally Welch, this production of the play, which has been around for hundreds of years, tells the story through the use of actors and puppets.
