鈥淲e are pleased with our pass rate on the Praxis test,鈥 said Dr. Carlette Hardin, interim director of the APSU School of Education. 鈥淚 feel this success can be contributed to a top notch faculty who are committed to preparing quality teachers for K-12 classrooms.

鈥淲e provide an intensive prestudent-teaching semester so that students have an opportunity to use the skills they are acquiring and to work with K-12 students, and this directly relates to success on the Praxis exams.鈥

The Praxis examination tests students on the principles of learning and teaching and subject area assessments.
