75th Anniversary alumni lecture cancelled
October 9, 2001Austin Peay officials learned last Thursday that Dr. Neal Bowers, professor of English at Iowa State University in Ames, is unable to be on campus Oct. 15 for the 7 p.m. lecture and signing of his novel, "Loose Ends."
Bowers was to be the second in a series of lectures and performances by APSU alumni-part of the University's 75th Anniversary Celebration.

Nov. 9 - Dr. Fred Alsop III, professor of biology at East Tennessee State University and ornithologist, presents "Birding America." 7 p.m., Sundquist Science Complex E106.
Jan. 14 - Dr. Yvonne Kendall, professor of music, University of Houston, in performance; 7:30 p.m., concert theatre, music/mass communication building.
Jan. 15 - Kendall will lecture on spirituals in contemporary music, 10 a.m., concert theatre, music/mass communication building.
