鈥淭his is an incredible accomplishment for our students this year, considering there were more than 400 entries submitted in this year's competition,鈥 Bieloh said. 鈥淲e in the art department are all very proud.鈥

The ADDY Awards is the largest creative competition in the country with about 55,000 local entries competing in more than 200 cities coast to coast.

Winning at the district level is the second step in competing for a national ADDY trophy. Any entry that wins a gold or silver ADDY is eligible to compete in the national competition.

Sample captured two honors, a Gold ADDY and the Judge's Choice Award, one of only three presented. For the contest, he entered a logo design for the Imaginarium.

Beekman and Datugan also won Gold ADDY awards. Beekman's winning entry was stationery design for Bird's Barbershop. Datugan created an ad poster series for Make Art, Not War.

Zenner received her award for a poster design for the 24-Hour Marriage Marathon.
