2nd AP Day for Fall 2007 beats 1st event attendance

Once again this fall, Austin Peay State University offered two optional Saturdays for prospective high school students and their families to attend AP Day.

The crowd of prospective high school students and their families/guests that swarmed campus on Saturday, Nov. 3 surpassed the Oct. 20 AP Day attendance.

According to Ryan Forsythe, director of admissions, the number of prospective students attending the Nov. 3 AP Day was 306 with 413 parents/guests, for a total attendance of 719.

It was a great day, Forsythe said.

鈥淚t was a great day,鈥 Forsythe said.

The Oct. 20 AP Day total attendance was 501224 prospective students and 277 parents/guests.

From 4:30-8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, APSU will host the College and Career Event for Adults, an event primarily for nontraditional students that is similar to AP Day.
