2 winter recitals planned this week
Austin Peay State University and the Community School of the Arts are pleased to present winter recitals.The first recital will be from the studios of Desiree Dolan and Jeanette Zyko.
The concert will take place at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 11 in the Music/Mass Communication Building, Room 147. The event is free and open to the public.
There will be a reception in the lobby after the recital. Visual art students in the Community School of the Arts produced the artwork on display in the lobby.

The vocal students of Dolan and the double reed students of Zyko will perform a variety of classical and holiday favorites.
More recitals will take place Saturday, Dec. 13 in the Music/Mass Communication Building Concert Hall. They are free and open to the public.

The first recital begins at 9 a.m. and features the piano students of Matt McNeill.
The second recital starts at 10:30 a.m. with the violin students of Abbie Hainz.
Another violin recital begins at noon and features the students of Seth Gangwer.
The recitals continue at 1:30 p.m. with the piano students of Jared Wilson and Stacie Robbins.
At 3 p.m. the violin students of Emily Hanna Crane, cello students of Sadie Slack and the saxophone students of Chris Gee will perform.
The recitals will conclude at 4:30 p.m. with the wind and percussion students of Lindsay Snapp, Mario Kee, Jeanette Zyko, JoAnn McIntosh and Carlso Johnson with additional music provided by the Percussion Ensemble.
Each recital will present a number of classical and traditional holiday selections.
