The ADDY Awards is the largest creative competition in the country with about 55,000 local entries competing in more than 200 cities coast to coast.
Winning at the district level is the second step in competing for a national ADDY trophy. Any entry that wins a gold or silver ADDY is eligible to compete in the national competition.
Farestad, of Mount Juliet, and Stallings, of Hendersonville, are students of David Bieloh, assistant professor of graphic design at APSU. Their winning work was designed in Bieloh's class.
In addition, their portfolios consisting of several graphic design pieces will be available for viewing in a combined exhibit beginning today and ending April 26 in the Trahern Gallery.
Opening night will be from 7-9 tonight. The exhibit can be viewed from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday, April 24; 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday, April 25; and 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, April 26.
