11 APSU graphic design seniors to showcase work
Graphic design majors from Austin Peay State University will display their design portfolios in this years Senior Design Show, beginning with an opening reception at 7 p.m., Monday, April 21 in the Trahern Gallery.The Senior Design Show, on display in Trahern until April 27, showcases each students best work. It is a culmination of the students time spent in the design program at APSU. Also, the group show serves as a forum for the community to view the design work from the graduating class, said Professor of Art Cindy Marsh.

Brian Owens, a designer from Dallas, Texas, will present a talk at 6 p.m., prior to the reception, in Trahern, Room 401. Owens has had design work featured in various trade and industry publications, including Communication Arts, Graphis, Blackbook100, New York Art Directors Club and Print magazine.
The show will feature work from 11 seniors who will graduate in May from the APSU Department of Art. Those seniors are Kim Balavre, Megan Bishop, Matt Bull, Brian Cerrato, Signe' Farley, Angy Gadalla, Allison Lee, Allison Nation, Lindsay Overson, Jarrod Walker and Amber Weinberg.
