$1,000 scholarship awarded during College & Career Event for Adults

During Austin Peay State Universitys College and Career Event for Adults on Nov. 6, a $1,000 scholarship was given to Cortez Butler, who will use his award for the Spring 2007 semester.
Butler, a Clarksville resident, graduated from Northeast High School in 2003.

The College and Career Event is held at Austin Peay twice a year – one in the fall and another in the spring – and is designed to assist nontraditional students with college planning.

APSU ºüÀêÊÓƵ Manager Sally Allen said the next College and Career Event for Adults is scheduled for April 24, 2007. A $1,000 scholarship for the Fall 2007 semester will be awarded to an adult present at the event.
